Rick grew up in the small Colorado foothills community of Lyons where he discovered his love for woodworking while in high school. He inherited tools from his father and began building up his workshop. Now a retired teacher, he and his wife Nancy have since moved north to Loveland where he finds inspiration from nearby family and beautiful views of the mountains and wildlife.
