Building From Inspiration
To improve my craft, I build designs of the master woodworkers, and it’s an honor to build their creations using their techniques to sharpen my own. There aren’t blueprints or actual designs available in most cases, so I study pictures, read articles, and watch videos. Sometimes I build the actual piece once and then create my own version or a piece that incorporates techniques I learned.
